“The Centre Escondido was a great venue for our wedding. Amy, Jessica, Cooper, and the whole team were easy to work with, communicative, and organized throughout the whole planning process. On the day of the wedding, they were available and ready to help get tables, chairs, hedges, and linens set up. They were clear about the timeline and followed it to the tee, checking in with the wedding coordinator from time to time to see if they needed help with anything else.
The venue space is spacious and can accommodate a large group. We had about 200 guests at our wedding and we used the Starlight Terrace for the Ceremony and Cocktail hour, then walked the guests over to the Moonlight Veranda on the other side for the Reception. It was a smooth transition and the guests really enjoyed the outdoor space. With the market lights above and the beautiful view of the sunset over Escondido, it was the perfect backdrop to eat, drink, and dance.

Not only has Vintana been a favorite of ours for some time, we recently celebrated our wedding reception with their care, guidance & exceptional service. The food for such large capacity was everything we have experienced in the actual restaurant. This is quite the feat to serve 60 persons timely & deliciously. Everyone raved about the food. The wait staff was beyond gracious. The Event Planner, Krista is professional, helpful & dedicated to every detail. “This past Saturday I held my 35 year high school reunion in the Crystal Ridge Room of The Centre. To say that it was a success would be a huge understatement. It was perfect. I had rave reviews from my classmates on everything from the view, to the food, to the service at the bar. We were all treated exceptionally well, and I am thrilled with my decision to use the Crystal Ridge Room for our event.
I want to be sure to acknowledge Krista and Kayli, the event planning staff that assisted me with all of the planning and decision making. Their expertise, suggestions, and follow-though were both appreciated and comforting. They were both very professional, pleasant, and easy to work with. They gave excellent advice on food suggestions and recommendations of how much to order for my group to be sure I wasn't short on anything. They were accommodating when it came time to set up, and we quick with answers when I had questions.
I also want to acknowledge the staff that took care of our group so well on the evening of the event. Our Captain, Max, was fantastic, as well as his staff of Adam and Edgar. They kept the food coming, kept the tables clean of used dishes and bottles, etc, and kept the guests happy. Sean and Raymond behind the bar were equally wonderful and were quick with the drinks, personable and all-around fun.

“Our guests were blown away by how unique and stunning the venue was! We had our ceremony in the elegant Crystal Ridge Room just as the sun was setting and the background was beautiful. We were fortunate to have a clear, warm evening in November for our outdoor reception on the Moonlight Veranda. It had so much room for guest to dance and mingle by the bars, fire table, and the cabanas. Plus, the dining tables were arranged for a cozy feeling. “I had my wedding reception at the centre and I was not disappointed. Meaghan and Beth were my wedding gurus and answered every question I had no matter how dumb it may have been. They prepared me and I knew the day of I would not have a thing to worry about. The day of Meaghan was there directing me to where I needed to be at what time and assist me with anything I needed. They greeted me with a bottle of champagne while I was waiting. The gentleman who helped her was also very professional, helpful, and kind. I would recommend this wedding team to anyone! “I highly recommend The Centre for any type of event you may be looking to have at this beautiful venue. I was the lead planner of my high school's 30th reunion that took place 3 weeks ago and looked at many venues trying to find that one that would give our party that special feel. I originally inquired thru email and was quickly contacted by a sales rep about the areas available to rent. They had several options, and I thought it best to see in person. Once at the Centre, my committee members and I fell instantly in love with the Moonlight Veranda patio with its fire table, cabanas, and magnificent views of the Escondido city hills and night lights. We looked at the other areas to rent, but knew this was the one and proceeded to immediately draw up the contract, sign it and put our deposit down. We still had 8 months to our event, but we're happy we had the place nailed down. During the next few months, I had simple questions about the venue which Meaghan Macalma answered quickly and if she didn't know the answer, would ask and get back to me. She was helpful in guiding me on the timeline for the evening as I hadn't planned an event before, so all her tips were very helpful to me in creating my invitation for the event. As the event grew closer, we met again on the Moonlight Veranda to look at table placement, where the DJ would go, etc., and also to discuss our growing numbers of our attendees (many more people were RSVP-ing than we thought) and what we would do if we ended up with too many people. We would expand out on the exterior patio area so it was nice to know we had that option if we needed it. Beth Hunt also met with us that day and listened to our concerns and the few questions we had they didn't have answers to were answered within a few days of that meeting.
After that meeting, they drew up a sketch of our floor plan with the tables, DJ, rolling bar, and buffet so we could see where everything was at. I think we had a couple of minor changes, but everything ended up looking great. The last 2 weeks before the event, I was in regular contact with them with regard to our current count so they could have the proper staff ready for us.
So everything is going great until the morning of the event and guess what — it's raining, there's thunderstorms, lighting and the weatherman is predicting it's going to stick around until 8 pm that night! Not like the normal rain shower we may get that rains and then an hour later it's gone. NO, this one hung around all day! So it was a big deal to make that decision, as even though the prediction said 8 pm, by noon, the skies were looking better and there hadn't been raining in an hour. After all it’s, San Diego right — it never rains in August! But we made the right call and moved the party from the outside patio to an inside ballroom they had available so we wouldn't have to worry about the DJ's equipment getting wet, or the people scrambling for cover in case it did rain again thru the night. It was a lot of work for them to change the location in the last few hours, but they did it and it appeared as perfect as this is what we had planned all along. Before the event, I even saw Maeghan and Beth physically moving the planters downstairs to our room so I know they were working hard too with all the last minute changes.
The Crystal Ridge ballroom looked beautiful for us and it had plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor corridor was thankfully also covered and that's where everyone was coming in for check in and for the rolling bar which at times had a line about 30 people deep. The bartenders were working their behinds off trying to keep up with our drinking crowd, and they were as quick as they could getting everyone their drinks. All the staff that night was gracious and friendly and always trying to make sure everything was going perfect.
During the event, Maeghan and Beth and the manager for the catering kept in regular contact with me if there was anything that needed attention. They were always on top of what was going on, and aware of me and making sure everything was good.
Planning this event was a big deal, and our decision to have it at the Centre with the Vintana restaurant catering the food was the best decision we made. The Centre is top notch in class and service and I highly recommend using them for your event needs. You won't be disappointed with their service.” — Maria P. – 5 stars

“We held a business meeting in the Delta Ridge Room at the Centre in November 2013. This was the first time most of us had been to The Centre and were very impressed by the facility and the staff. Every detail of our event was perfectly executed by Paola and Maeghan. Everyone in our group dropped their cars off for a car wash on the way in and they were ready at a convenient location before our meeting was over and Maeghan had our car keys ready.
