December Fun in North County San Diego

Here are 4 holiday events that you should keep an eye out for as you plan your holiday schedule:

Santa at The Centre

Mark your calendars, because The Centre is bringing back Christmas cheer on Saturday, December 2nd from 10 am to 1 pm!

Bring the whole family to enjoy photos with Santa, a Tiny Tot Train ride, cookie decorating, caricature drawings and performance paintings by artist Stephen Fishwick. Be sure to stop by Vintana before or after the event for a delicious brunch from 10:30 am to 2 pm, and enjoy a special discount on kid’s brunch with each paying adult!

Holiday Tree Lighting and Winter Wonderland Festival

Another holiday event to consider this season is the annual Tree Lighting and Winter Wonderland at the California Centre of Arts in Escondido.

The festival will be held on December 7th from 3 pm to 8 pm, and features a tree lighting ceremony, art booths and even a snow play area. What’s more? Entry is free so you have no reason to leave this one off your calendar.

Encinitas Holiday Parade

Grab some chairs, blankets and your loved ones! You won’t want to miss this year’s Encinitas Holiday Parade. It takes place on Saturday, December 7th along Highway 101 in Encinitas from D Street to J Street.

This year’s Parade theme is “Growing Holiday Cheer” and is set to kickoff at 5:30 pm. The parade will be preceded by a tree lighting ceremony at The Lumberyard at 5 pm.

Poway’s Christmas in the Park

Looking for an exciting outdoor holiday event this December? Look no further than the Poway’s Christmas in the park on December 9th. This event is a unique delight for the entire family, bringing the magic of old-fashioned Christmas traditions to a modern holiday spirit.

You can expect a Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 5 pm, pony rides and live music.
