Six String Society and The Centre are excited to bring international star Vanessa Collier to Escondido, CA as part of her United States & European “Keep It Saxy” Tour.

Blues, Funk, Soul Sax, Singer and Songwriter Vanessa Collier is a 9-time Blues Music Award nominee, 2019 & 2020 BMA winner for Best Horn Player of the Year, 2022 Blues Blast Award winner, 2022 BMA winner for Contemporary Blues Artist of the Year, and was nominated once again for the 2023 BMA Artist of the Year! Be prepared to witness a head-turning, fiery, and passionate performance by this masterful multi-instrumentalist. Vanessa weaves soul, funk, rock and blues into every performance. With soulful lyrics, searing saxophone, and witty songwriting Vanessa is blazing a big trail!

We are also happy to announce that international and local blues sensation Taryn Donath with Matthew Taylor will be opening the show. Taryn is a 2-time winner of the Best Blues Artist in San Diego and is a regular on several of the most prestigious blues cruises.
