2023 FREE Music Concert Series

Live at The Centre is an exciting new collaboration between The Centre Escondido and the Six String Society. We are committed to making the joy of live music accessible to everyone and bringing some of San Diego’s finest acts to inland north county while keeping admission free!

This will be the 2nd production of Live at The Centre and we couldn’t be happier to have the legendary award-winning Farmers as the featured act. The Farmers just won the 2023 San Diego Music Award for Best Rock Artists! Opening up the night will be international guitar legend Mr. Richard Smith, Ron Houston and the Berry Pickers, and Anthony Cullins (who just won the 2023 San Diego Music Award for Best Blues Artist) will be making a special appearance as well! Make plans to come out and have some fun with The Farmers and friends!

More About The Bands

The Farmers

One of San Diego’s most beloved and legendary bands. Having started as the Beat Farmers they now are just The Farmers and in 2019 won San Diego’s Best Rock band with their rock and roll style like no other. The Farmers just won the 2023 San Diego Music Award for Best Rock Artists! Led by San Diego Music Awards Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Jerry Raney, this group packs some major heat! 

Richard Smith

One of the most accomplished acoustic guitar players in the world. Originally from England, this virtuoso now tours the world performing almost 200 shows per year including shows with his pal and music partner Tommy Emmanuel. An amazing treat awaits all those in attendance.

Ron Houston and the Berry Pickers

An energetic band fronted by Louisana native Ron Houston. They bring the Outlaw to country with their excellent rhythm section and vocals. One of San Diego’s favorite bands looks forward to making their north County debut at The Centre!

Anthony Cullins

Anthony Cullins just won the 2023 San Diego Music Award for Best Blues Artist!
