Live at The Centre is an exciting new collaboration between The Centre Escondido and the Six String Society. We are committed to making the joy of live music accessible to everyone and bringing some of San Diego’s finest acts to inland north county while keeping admission free!

The fun continues with the 3rd production of Live at The Centre. Come dance the night away under the stars with music ranging from Soul, Latin, Funk and Jazz on this very special evening! We’re excited to introduce to north county The Sure Fire Soul Ensemble who was nominated for the Best Album by the San Diego Music Awards in 2023 and has won 3 SDMA’s over the years. Also featured will be SDMA 2-time Blues Performer of the Year, Taryn Donath & Matthew Taylor on percussion along with 4-time SDMA award winner and Folk & Pop legend Mr. Gregory Page!

Sure Fire Soul Ensemble

SFSE is a 9-piece heavy instrumental Funk band. Their influences are vast and include hip hop groups like Wu-Tang Clan and De La Soul as well as Funk masters Isaac Hayes, The Meters, and James Brown. The SFSE are on a roll coming off their 4th LP, Step Down, which debuted at #14 on Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz chart. One thing is for sure, this amazing band will be bringing some incredible energy to the Rooftop at The Centre!

Taryn Donath Duo

An accomplished award-winning musician who has been performing professionally for over 25 years, Taryn Donath has an incredibly commanding performance style….each live performance is exciting and spontaneous. Her duo plays anything from 60’s Soul Jazz, Funk, Jump/Swing, and Latin, taking the listener on a musical adventure.

Gregory Page

Singer/Songwriter Gregory Page spent most of his adult life as a working musician; writing, performing and traveling the world with his catalog of songs that highlight his unique perspective on life. Page’s music has been featured on BBC, NPR, and film and television soundtracks. Page has also worked with a long list of amazing artists, most recently writing and touring regularly with his friend Jason Mraz, but also sharing the stage with some absolute legends including John Prine, Bob Dylan, John Doe, Jewel and John C. Reilly.
