You have the perfect wedding dress, your dream cake and all the little details sorted out. Now, all that’s left is to add a few special touches to your big day to make sure all your guests have a great time.

Take a look at these five tips to help get your creative juices flowing. You’re sure to have your guests laughing and making memories all night long.

Create a Hashtag

Start by creating a unique hashtag for your wedding. You can use it during pre-wedding updates and during the event itself. Create instructions for your guests on how to use hashtags, just in case, and have them at each table. This will ensure that all guests, even those less tech-savvy, will be able to share their candid photos. Another added benefit, by using a hashtag you will get to see so much more of you wedding and through the eyes of your guest!

Rent a Photo Booth

Speaking of photos, have you considered a photo booth? This is a popular wedding trend that’s popping up everywhere. Photo booths are a wedding addition sure please everyone! You can get creative by using themed templates and if possible, give your guests several choices for backdrops too—fake mustaches or funky glasses and boas. Your guests will have a great memory to take home and to share.

Snack Station

Everyone loves a treat, and what better way to get the crowd moving than to add a snack station. Adding a snack station gives your guests the chance to be social and grab something sweet or salty to eat before and after you cut the cake. Add a soft serve ice cream machine for summer weddings or hot cocoa for winter treats. Just make certain that you have a variety and plenty for each guest to enjoy several samplings.

Get a Great Playlist

Have your DJ or band include hits from each generation in attendance. This way, everyone will have at least one or two songs they recognize. Add in great mix of today’s hits. Make sure that each song is upbeat and sets the mood appropriately for your special day.

Incorporate a Surprise Element

Hire an entertaining dance instructor. Have him or her choreograph a wedding dance specifically for your guests to perform during the big day. Not only will your guests enjoy it, everyone will be able to partake. Dances can range from swing, salsa, to square dancing. Whatever you choose, your guests will have an incredible time learning and performing.
