Fall Family Festivities in Escondido

The fall season is always a great time for family events and activities in and around Escondido. The cool and calm weather provides a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for family fun days to get everyone involved. This fall, Escondido will have no shortfall of entertaining events for the entire family. Keep an eye out for the following upcoming events.

Escondido Grand Avenue Festival

Grand Ave between Centre City and Juniper St

One of the biggest street fairs in Southern California is happening right here in Downtown Escondido. There will be over 5000 vendors coming, featuring unique arts and crafts, imports, international cuisine, and family entertainment. Happening on Sunday, October 15th from 9 am to 5 pm, the entire family is bound to have a blast.

The event will happen in Downtown Escondido, from Center City Parkway to Juniper Street. There will be something for everyone, including tasty food selections, diverse choices of clothing and other items, and entertainment via music/talent performances.

Escondido Certified Farmer’s Market

200 N. Juniper St and E. Grand Ave

The Escondido farmer’s market has been bringing the local community together for many years. With over 50 vendors selling the finest locally grown fruits, vegetables, flowers, and meat products, you can be sure to find food items that your family will enjoy.

Join the local community every Tuesday of this fall from 2:30 pm to 6 pm as you feast on a hot plate, enjoy the ambience of the park, and listen to local musicians and performances.

Grape Day 5k

150 N Center City Pkwy

Do you love to keep fit? Then the Grape Day 5k is the perfect event for the entire family. Happening on Saturday, October 7th at 7:30 am, the 5k is suited for both elite and casual runners. You can choose to walk, run, or even stroll to the finish line. Participants will also receive a medal, tech short, and a bag full of goodies.

The 5k will wind through the historic area of Escondido, allowing runners to enjoy the beautiful scenery and climate. The Grape day 5k has also partnered with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to help drive research efforts towards finding a cure, which is a noble and charitable cause.

Fall Harvest Festival at The Centre

“Fall” into fun with our annual Fall Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 21st. Join us from 10 am to 1 pm in our Sunset Heights space for a day of laughs, crafts, and fall food! Kids can enjoy everything from bobbing for apples, pumpkin carving, to painting and train rides.
